Yesterday in my day of productivity, I went to the gym, took V to school, put baby down for a nap and had a mug of homemade almond milk, homemade pumpkin puree (this was already made in the fridge), and homemade spice simple syrup by 10:30. I even made meatballs a top spaghetti squash for dinner. I think I won the prize; but, by 7:45pm I was ready to call it a day.
I thought I would piece meal the drink for you in case you are wanting to do the same.
- Make your almond milk.
- Make your own pumpkin puree or use canned.
- Make the Spice Simple Syrup & put it together.
Now, according to Tina herself (and I have tasted & agree) the use of only the spice simple syrup is better than adding in the pumpkin. Try it both ways and let me know what you prefer. Oh and in case you need another use for that pumpkin puree...this one is pretty popular around these parts.
